This Week at FantomWorks is a short post that we have started to give a little insight on the ongoing projects that the shop is currently working on. Since many can’t make it to the shop for every weekly tour we decided to bring a little bit of the shop to everyone. Hope you enjoy…
Hope you enjoyed the brief update on just some of the numerous project currently in the shop. If you are ever in the Norfolk area on a Friday, come on down and see the work being done yourself during one of our weekly Tours.
We begin this week with vehicles filling up TrimWorks getting those final details done. 
Including a 67 Chevelle, 63 Corvette and a 71 Camaro. 
As well as a 65 Mustang, 76 Jensen and a 72 Corvette. 
Pops continues pushing through the task of getting the 37 Stearman airborne once again. 
Heath works on getting the dark gray 63 Corvette trim pieces ready to paint. 
While Davey gets the time consuming task of body work on the Route-66 Corvette, while the 69 Cougar patiently waits its time in the paint booth. 
Since Andy awaits brake parts for the Amphicar, he makes headway getting the 37 Buick ready for the paint booth. 
ChrisP gets the 64 GTO ready for its rebuilt engine. 
And working with a very crooked 64 Corvette. 
Jon continues on running electrical to the newly implanted LS in the 76 Jaguar. 
As well as getting the lines run on the 51 F-100’s LS3. 
Wayne makes quite the headway in getting the 56 Chris Craft back into the water.

What happened to the wide body kit Corvette. Purple color I think?
I am not 100% sure which vehicle you are talking about the last purple corvette we had in here the owner took home to finish.
I wish we knew if they ever finished it or brought it back to y’all to get it running, such a shame.

What is the square footage of this building? By the pics it looks cavernous!

is the brown camaro a 70 1/2 & what would a total rebuild cost.
I have watched the show for years and I always enjoy it. I have seen most episodes many times and I will happily watch them over again. It’s a great show. But, I noticed that there are a couple of 66 Galaxies that are visible over and over again in most any episode that I watch. They look like the 7 liter versions, and they are always there in the background. There is also a black 64 Galaxie that can be seen in many of the episodes. Are they being stored there? Are they employee owned vehicles???
They are storage vehicles all for the same owner.
I was guessing that was the situation on them. Even in your current pics depicting this week on your site, I can see the nose of that copper colored 66 Galaxie. It’s the same one that I have seen all along. It routinely is shown next to a black 66 Galaxie. And there is a black 64 Galaxie that is sometimes shown somewhere in the background. It does appear to get work done on it from time to time (again, in the background, never as a feature). I recently saw it up on a lift when watching the show about the 39 Hudson coupe convertible. I am a big Galaxie fan, so those cars jump right out at me when I see them on the episodes. Again, the pair of 66 Galaxies always seem to be in the line up on the side. And, they have been all along. Apparently, the copper colored 66 is still there now.
