“The society’s inaugural Beard and Mustache competition at Shaka’s Live club in Virginia Beach
will feature 10 categories to include facial hair of all types and styles – including partial beards (such as chops, goatees and Donegals with no styling aids), to fake creative for the hairless, and a “red, white and beard class” for veterans only.
Proceeds will go to the Norfolk-based Wounded Wheels, which customizes classic cars for wheelchair-bound vets.”
