I wished we’d had more time to spend in Missouri. We hit weather & were behind schedule and had less time for the amazing detours you find when you take the small roads.

Along the way, we discovered that the journey which started in Chicago wasn’t a road trip to Santa Monica. It was a journey in which every day was it’s own adventure, each unique and amazing. There was never a moment when you even thought “Are we there yet” because every moment of this voyage, we were already there.
