This Week at FantomWorks is a short post that we have started to give a little insight on the ongoing projects that the shop is currently working on. Since many can’t make it to the shop for every weekly tour we decided to bring a little bit of the shop to everyone. Hope you enjoy…
Hope you enjoyed the brief update on just some of the numerous project currently in the shop. If you are ever in the Norfolk area on a Friday, come on down and see the work being done yourself during one of our weekly Tours.
We start this short week with the arrival of a gorgeous 63 Corvette 
as well as a really cool 63 Austin Healey 
Dan gets the exhuast and some of the wiring done on the 65 Amphicar 
Fessler spends this short week diagnosing the electronics in the 55 Roadmaster 
and installing the electronic seats in the the 64 Corvette LS3 swap 
Josh begins to pull apart the components on the 56 Capri 
while he takes some time to finish up the 72 Corvette 
KrisT splits his time working on the interior of the 64 Chevelle Malibu 
and the wiring of the 52 MG 
But still we catch him with his hands all over the 69 Cougar 
Davey gets the 50’s pedal car painted and rebuilt 
While Andy awaits the wood for the trailer rebuild 
he installs the fenders and running boards on the 37 Buick 
Heath takes a break from the building of the front end on the 63 Corvette CVT 
to start the painting of the 74 Jaguar 
Wayne works his body magic on the 72 Corvette Restomod in order to get it ready for it’s time in the paint booth 
Jon is waiting on a back-order part for the 65 Mustang 
As well as the new transmission for the 69 Camaro 
He begins to wire up the cab of the 50 F100 
ChrisP preps for the holiday by getting the 62 Impala rolling and stopping like new 
and continues with the resto upgrades on the 58 Corvette
What is the status on the 41 Buick? I owned a 40 Century for 17 years. Please advise.
Love the updates. Keep them coming. I really miss the TV show but enjoy it in reruns when it’s on.
I am amazed of how many cars your team works on simultaneously and have the ability to keep straight on what is done to each.
It appears that, since the ending of the tv show, your business has continued to flourish. Just to get a perspective, what kind of backlog do you currently have compared to when the show was being “filmed”? Perhaps a comparison between the number of cars delivered in the current year and the number delivered during a show year over the same basic time period. I feel certain as a good business man you track productivity by several metrics.

Enjoy the updates and the reruns on TV. They finally aired some Season 1 episodes that I had not seen.
Nice to see a sedan (’62 Chevy) mixed in with the fancy convertibles and muscle cars.
