This Week at FantomWorks is a short post that we have started to give a little insight on the ongoing projects that the shop is currently working on. Since many can’t make it to the shop for every weekly tour we decided to bring a little bit of the shop to everyone. Hope you enjoy…
Hope you enjoyed the brief update on just some of the numerous project currently in the shop. If you are ever in the Norfolk area on a Friday, come on down and see the work being done yourself during one of our weekly Tours.
Wayne is literally plugging away on the 56 Chris Craft. 
Having to drill a hole, screw in a brass wood screw, plug every screw hole with a little dowl piece, seal with some epoxy then sand down flush all around the hull. 
Andy has gotten the Amphicar starting and running well. Just waiting on a brake rebuild kit to get it to stop too. 
While he awaits the brake parts arrival the 37 Buick gets his attention. 
JR has added the various engines sitting around the shop onto the Engine Wall. 
ChrisP works on aligning the 71 camaro and resolving a irritating exhaust problem. 
While the 63 Corvette has its engine removed. Pro Tip – when removing the engine from a C2 Corvette strap the back end onto the lift arms. 
Jon has his LS3 swap area, continuing to add parts to the various builds as they come in. 
While steadly wiring up the LS in a 74 Jag, building custom brackets and housings along the way. 
Heath has the Route 66 primed and awaiting reassembly before painting. 
More Corvette parts primed while the 69 Cougar awaits its turn. 
Fessler continues to assemble and wire the 54 Panel 
More vehicles awaiting completion in TrimWorks, including a 66 Coronet, a 50 Ford F100 and a 64 Lincoln. 
KrisT continues to get the 31 5-Window ready to roll down the road.
Great pictures of all of the ongoing projects it nice to see a garage diversify on builds. It would be nice to see a current picture of all of your staff!
Being in the car industry since I was 9 and now I am retired and still doing full blown restorations in my own 5 car shop in my home in fL. It is nice to see a shop that knows and does it right. I have been going in and out of body shops for insurance companys all over the country. The work and the techs I have seen do not add up to the ones you have. Keep up the Great Job of keeping the past with us.

Not so much a comment but a question, All the cars in /on racks/lifts around the walls , are they yours bought for parts or clients cars waiting their turn for a resto?
Love your TV show watch it over and over and one day will get to the US and come down to do one of your tours.
