This Week at FantomWorks is a short post that we have started to give a little insight on the ongoing projects that the shop is currently working on. Since many can’t make it to the shop for every weekly tour we decided to bring a little bit of the shop to everyone. Hope you enjoy…
Hope you enjoyed the brief update on just some of the numerous project currently in the shop.
We start this week off with the new arrival of a 54 Mercury Monterey Woody 
TrimWorks has a 58 Corvette hiding under a cover, as well as the 55 Roadmaster 
With the 72 Corvette LS3 Restomod starting the assembly process. 
The 53 Pickup arrives out of the paint section 
Josh works on updating and cleaning up of the suspension on the 63 brown Corvette 
taking a break on the LS3 powered 50 F100 
Fessler starts to clean and update the 63 Teal Corvette 
while the 74 Jaguar LS3-Type awaits an exhaust appointment 
Dan found a curious paint issue on the 65 Silver Corvette 
Davey strips and preps the 69 Corvette 
While the 54 Corvette gets ready for it’s turn 
And the 63 Corvette CVT gets some underbody work done. 
Andy gets a 38 GMC Panel with some badly banged up rear doors 
Andy and Wayne assemble the rebuilt bed for the 50 4100 Farm Truck 
ChrisP and Andy work on rebuilding the frame, differential and brakes for the 50 4100 Farm Truck 
Wayne spends some time restoring and building a new set of bed frame rails for the 50 4100 Farm Truck 
Meanwhile back in MotorWorks we have the 63 blue Corvette and the black 69 Camaro both await a test drive. 
The Route-66 ’63 Gold Corvette gets ready to have its motor removed. 
While the orange 69 Camaro awaits a tuning session 
and the 63 black Corvette gets finalized before its turn for some test drives. 
ChrisP starts the initial inspection of the newly arrived 41 Chevy Special 
Jon works on a tricky suspension issue on the 65 Mustang 
and begins to plump up the fuel and brake lines on the 68 Ferrari

you all do things that just want to make wish i was back in the 40’s again and i send u all the best and i wish i could come to the shop and meat all , but i want think you for liking the things i sent wish i could be a biger part of what you do.
i forgot would it be to much to see what you did with the things i sent to . and i think you work on two meny corvettes and mustangs. But thats just me i loke the oldies,,, thankyou

I like the Merc. wagon and the 56 Lincoln. I own a sharp 59 Ford Galaxie Sunliner…soft top in black and a 75 F-150 Viking Edition. It’s a dark purple.

I’ve always had a soft spot for 1950 to 1954 Ford and Mercury woodys and regular stationwagons. Can’t wait to watch the progress on this Merc.
Any updates on the 63 coupe hardtop for the roadster?

The 54 Merc Woody should be a nice project. I think that year was the first OH valve V8 for both Ford and Mercury.

Just started watching the show again from the beginning on Motortrend tv. Made me wonder how many of your guys are still there from the beginning and what the turnover rate has been. You guys do/did amazing work on the program and I really enjoy watching how the cars progresses from start to finish. One of these days I am going to make the trip down there and check the place out. Also, on all the shows there are cars out in front of the building. Are these cars waiting for the customer to pick them up or are they cars that you are selling. Just curious. Thanks.
