This Week at FantomWorks is a short post that we have started to give a little insight on the ongoing projects that the shop is currently working on. Since many can’t make it to the shop for every weekly tour we decided to bring a little bit of the shop to everyone. Hope you enjoy…
Hope you enjoyed the brief update on just some of the numerous project currently in the shop. If you are ever in the Norfolk area on a Friday, come on down and see the work being done yourself during one of our weekly Tours.
We start this week back from Thanksgiving with the arrival of a 32 Ford 
Dan makes time to get the newly arrived parts for the 65 Amphicar installed 
Davey paints the engine bay of the 56 Capri 
while attaching the newly arrived stickers on the 50 Pedal Car 
Heath lays the base coat on the 74 Jaguar preparing it for the final color 
Wayne works on having the 72 Corvette Restomod ready for the paint booth 
Andy continues the restoration of the trailer and creates mounts for the ramp 
While the 65 Corvette awaits its rebuilt water pump 
and the 63 Corvette sits patiently for its new control arm 
Jon makes headway on the 50 F100 getting the engine bay packed with all the goodies 
ChrisP continues to upgrade the 58 Corvette steering and brake system 
and manages to get the 54 Corvette test drove 
Josh has the Route-66 63 Corvette almost done 
Fessler installs the door seals on the 64 Corvette LS swap 
while the 63 Corvette Split Window creeps closer to the finish line
What, if anything ever happened to the airplane that Dan dragged into the shop?
It is still here, stuck in a holding pattern waiting on paperwork and sign-off certs.
You should post pics of the airplane. We saw it on the TV show. I saw where Dan is encouraging aircraft mechanics. I’m guessing again, that Dan has a private pilot license?
Yes, he does but is not completely qualified on the Stearman, yet. I will try to remember to take a couple of photos of the plane for next weeks newsletter/post.

Greatly appreciate watching the magic take place at your facilities. I have almost completed my last build, a ‘30 Ford coupe. I have it ready for the upholstery shop. Remember Dan: when you race your motor, you’ll burn your bearings out! Control that “A” type personality. We know strong will people get thing done. Unfortunately they are hell to live with 😊. You have assembled an awesome team of talented individuals.

Dan, I was on tour a year a go this past August at your shop, I think the hottest day of summer, you had just made a deal to restore a 63 split window and pushed it in while i was there. Is that red 63 in this newsletter the same car?
It might be the same, the corvettes seem to blur together we get quite a few in.
Did the 37 Buick get completed and leave the shop? What all was done to it?
It’s still here waiting on some trim pieces. It is a complete restoration.
Looks like a Corvette specialty shop. Very roomy there without the camera crew in the way

Does Dan every go to areas around the country to visit car shows and bring some of the cars he has done work on? Would like to see more of him and his cars but Va is a 3 day trip from Missouri.
I would like to bring one of my cars to his tour. Maybe some day.
