This Week at FantomWorks is a short post that we have started to give a little insight on the ongoing projects that the shop is currently working on. Since many can’t make it to the shop for every weekly tour we decided to bring a little bit of the shop to everyone. Hope you enjoy…
Hope you enjoyed the brief update on just some of the numerous project currently in the shop. If you are ever in the Norfolk area on a Friday, come on down and see the work being done yourself during one of our weekly Tours.
TrimWorks begins the week with the Route-66 63 Corvette getting the interior started 
and the 65 Amphicar getting the side trim on. 
Fessler continues to install the interior and wire up all the electronics on the 64 LS3 Corvette 
KrisT takes a break from the 52 MG interior to 
work on the 76 Jensen exhaust system 
and the 69 Cougar interior. 
Andy gets the 64 Chevelle door fitting better and working flawlessly 
Heath fixes the minor body damage on the 72 Corvette like it never was there 
Wayne gives Davey a break from the 74 Jaguar and begins to prep the rest of the body for primer 
having to push the 72 Restomod Corvette out for room. 
Andy and Davey break apart the 37 Plymouth in preperation for paint. 
While the 65 Corvette awaits its new tires and rims, 
ChrisP removes the 62 Impala’s carburator for rebuilding 
and continues the restoring of the 54 Corvette suspension 
all the while getting the Lamborghini ready for its final test drives. 
Jon bounces between the 65 Mustang Electronic Fuel Injection upgrade 
and the preparation of the 50 F100 frame for it’s turn in the paint booth.
Dan, everything looks good but that ’64 Chevelle speaks to me! Love it. I’m going to call you one day about my 1980 Camaro Z/28. Doesn’t need much but it’s above my paygrade. When (and if you take it) and it gets done we will talk about my 1969 Chevelle SS396 that I’ve owned since new. Just needs an engine transplant. My favorite episode was with the guy with the black ’69 Chevelle, who you raced with a ’69 Camaro you put together for the occasion! I really enjoyed that episode.
GREAT YOU ARE KEEPING UP THE FANTOM WORKS TRADITIONS. Am continuing to enjoy the reruns on TV. Hope you are making the next million $, as now its business and not charity work! Would like to see pictures of the finished Stinson airplane when done. Love to all.
Boy do I miss you guys. I am grateful to view your existing projects. Faithfully watching reruns. Thank you Dan and guys for the memories.
Do miss the TV version of progress in the shop, but really appreciate the e-mail updates. Amazing the variety of vehicles DRS is able to return to the road. Norfolk is on the bucket list of places to visit.
