This Week at FantomWorks is a short post that we have started to give a little insight on the ongoing projects that the shop is currently working on. Since many can’t make it to the shop for every weekly tour we decided to bring a little bit of the shop to everyone. Hope you enjoy…
Hope you enjoyed the brief update on just some of the numerous project currently in the shop. If you are ever in the Norfolk area on a Friday, come on down and see the work being done yourself during one of our weekly Tours.
TrimWorks start off the week getting the 63 Lincoln ready for it’s owner’s visit 
as well as the 64 Lamborghini GT350. 
BodyWorks gets the bad news the Route-66 63 Corvette suffered a blow out that ruined the freshly painted rocker panel. 
Fessler works on getting the 69 Chevelle original A/C blowing cold again. 
KrisT works on getting the 69 Cougar’s electrical system connected and organized. 
Pops finishes up the 60 Edsel Ranger 
and moves onto the 64 Amphicar. 
Andy works on getting the 68 Dodge Dart’s headliner trimmed and tight. 
Davey, Heath and Wayne work on the Special Vehicle Project getting the body panels cleaned up after being molded. 
ChrisP spends the week jumping between the 64 Corvette LS3 swap 
and the Morgan’s brake and engine issues. 
Jon takes a break from the 50 F100 custom seat mounts 
to improve the 65 Mustang brakes and a new EFI fuel system.
Great color on the Lincoln. And, It’s not black!
I would like to know what Dan uses for a rust Stopper on the frames of the cars. I saw on one of the shows he use it , it was in a can with Brush . I’m Restoring. 1967 Lincoln Continental and it has a small amount of rust in a hard place to get at but enough room to get a small brush in it. Dan talk about it his rust stopper ( goop ) I think he called it!

Always enjoy reading your weekly e-mail newsletters, as well as catching up on episodes of Phantom Works that I’ve recorded, but haven’t viewed yet. Hope to make it sometime for a Friday shop tour one of these days. If I ever get to visit my sister who lives in Newport News, I’ll take the time to make it to Norfolk as well. Hi Dan and the Gang at Fantom Works. Really sorry that the TV show is no longer with us but I appreciate the reasons why as I have been down that road but in a much smaller context, however, your weekly newsletter and updates re the workshop is a great second best. Keep up the good work. Ken Tilly in UK.
Dan loved doing the white Amphicar, and did such a bang-up job on it, I see he’s tackled another one! Really rotten cars from the factory, but very, very cool as collector cars!
