This Week at FantomWorks is a short post that we have started to give a little insight on the ongoing projects that the shop is currently working on. Since many can’t make it to the shop for every weekly tour we decided to bring a little bit of the shop to everyone. Hope you enjoy…
Hope you enjoyed the brief update on just some of the numerous project currently in the shop. If you are ever in the Norfolk area on a Friday, come on down and see the work being done yourself during one of our weekly Tours.
Wow, I miss watching Fantomworks. I watch the reruns over and over but I wish there were new episodes coming. It was the best show on Discovery Velocity.
I agree. I just started watching it about 3 weeks before the last show and have since watched most of the episodes. By far and away the best car show on TV.
I agree 1000%
Yes it was I miss it so much
One of the types of magic you guys create at the shop is restoration work like the paint on the 64 vette pictured. Often you do wonders without a complete re-paint etc. Tips and tricks would be a great addition to postings like this. Just a thought.
I agree ! it seems that all motor trend can do now is show reruns over and over have seen ian way tooo much get some new shows on please !
I agree 1000%
What is the special project car.c
Keep up the Good work, We all enjoy whatever we can get from the Fantomworks garage !!!
What I liked most was that Fantom Works appeared to be a genuine show. The first episode I watched had Dan looking straight into the camera lens and telling us that the shows that supposedly restored a car from scrap to concours in three weeks were all BS. He explained that his workshop couldn’t do it in under 6 months. I watch all of the other shows like Fast n Loud, Misfit garage etc. where they show a car that has to be restored within a 3 week time frame and the resto is so called “accomplished” and the car is sent to Barrett Jackson and sold for mega bucks, however, in a later show the same car is shown half done, sitting on a hoist and covered in dust! Please, do they think we are all as stupid as they are?
I miss Fantom Works !!
Just curious – one of my favorite shows was the restoration of the 1941 Buick Special Sedanette. I see that car in the background of some of the recent photos of the shop. I wonder why?
The owner is keeping it here for storage.
I really miss the show, Dan is a real guy just not blow and show. Bring the show back.
