It’s difficult to describe just how ideal this town was to have the first major twist in the story. The abandoned gas station was exactly where I needed it to be, the library is perfectly located, and the old restaurant couldn’t have been better located if I’d suggested the building site. Amazing…
Dwight Illinois is one of the many jewels on the necklace of the Mother Road. The town’s people are friendly and there’s lots of nostalgic things to take in. What was spooky was that the town was set up exactly as I had described it in the book.
